The 2nd Term Ball Games officially kicked off at Chania Boys High School, and the Kenya Society for Deaf Children was proud to be part of this important social welfare activity.

It was inspiring to watch our learners showcase their talent, teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship on the field. As the Competency-Based Education (CBE) curriculum continues to take shape, arts and sports are no longer viewed as extracurricular activities; they are recognized as valuable career pathways that nurture skills, confidence, and future opportunities.

At KSDC, we remain committed to supporting every deaf child to discover their potential, both in the classroom and beyond.

We wish all participating teams the very best throughout the competition! πŸ†πŸβš½

Today we were privileged to attend the official launch of the Centre for Hearing and Speech Excellence between Kenyatta University and Starkey Hearing Technologies .
This landmark Centre represents a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing access to affordable hearing
healthcare services and devices, delivering quality training in hearing healthcare and speech-language
pathology. This will expand the pool of skilled professionals in Kenya and Sub-Saharan Africa and foster
collaborative research and knowledge generation in the critical field of hearing healthcare.
