Final Youth Iftar Dinner – Kanana, Kwale County

On Thursday, 19 March 2026, Muslims Development Agenda successfully hosted its final Youth Iftar Dinner of the Holy Month of Ramadhan in Kanana, Lunga Lunga Sub-County, Kwale County.

The gathering marked a beautiful and heartfelt close to a month filled with devotion, reflection, and spiritual renewal. Young people came together not only to share a meal, but also to engage in meaningful conversations on faith, purpose, and personal growth.

Through these engagements, the youth were reminded that the true essence of Ramadhan goes beyond fasting — it lies in sustaining discipline, compassion, and a strong connection with Allah even after the month ends.

As we broke our fast together for the last time this Ramadhan, the spirit of unity and brotherhood was deeply felt, leaving everyone inspired to carry forward the lessons and values of this sacred month.

Taqabbalallahu minna wa minkum — may Allah accept our fasts, prayers, and good deeds, and grant us the opportunity to witness many more Ramadhans, in shaa Allah.

Matuga Youth Iftar Dinner – Kwale County

Muslims Development Agenda, in partnership with Kwale Muslim Youth led by Sheikh Hamza Musa, yesterday hosted a vibrant Youth Iftar Dinner at the Deaf Centre – Kwale, bringing together young people for an evening of connection and inspiration during this blessed month of Ramadhan.

The program featured engaging and practical sessions, where:

■ Brother Mohamed Mwachausa spoke on self-reliance, challenging youth to take charge of their future through discipline and purposeful action.

■ Sheikh Abdalla Vyanguoni reminded participants on how to sustain the Ramadhan spirit beyond the holy month through consistency in faith and good deeds.

The evening then culminated in a beautiful moment as we broke our fast together, strengthening bonds, building friendships, and reinforcing a sense of unity among the youth.

Let’s carry this energy forward beyond Ramadhan!

6th Edition of the Kwale County Qur’an Competition – 2026

An atmosphere of faith, excellence, and inspiration marked Saturday, 7 March 2026 as we convened for the 6th Edition of the Kwale County Qur’an Competition – 2026.

Gifted young reciters from across the county delivered moving performances, demonstrating exceptional mastery of Qur’anic recitation, discipline, and deep spiritual commitment. Truly, the light of the Qur’an continues to shine through our youth.

Congratulations to the overall champion, AHMED SALIM SALAT, winner of the grand prize of KES 200,000. A well-deserved victory and an inspiration to many.

Graced by the presence of various Sheikhs, Imams and Political Leaders, the occasion was crowned with beautiful moments of fellowship as we came together to break the fast and share the Iftar dinner in unity as Muslims.

Beyond the competition, the gathering strengthened bonds within the Muslim community and renewed our shared commitment to nurturing faith, character, and knowledge among the next generation.

Sincere congratulations to all participants, organizers, partners, and supporters who made this memorable event a success. May Allah reward you abundantly and bless our community.
