Capacity for Community Change Capacity for Community change is a CBO operating in Murang'a county, aiming at Empowering Youth & Community growth in the county, in all 7 constituencies.

OUR OBJECTIVES

Our objected approaches as developmental and community organization include:-

1. Enhancing community capacity to dealing with social and economic problems. Promoting healthy living by investing on disease prevention and management measures in general and Reproductive Health. Contributing towards reduced Climate Change, and global Warming; adding beauty to the environment thr

ough promotion of Environmental management and conservation. Contribution towards regional, National and world peace & cohesion

Capacity for Community Change as highlighted above is a community based organization, registered under the Ministry of Gender, Children Social services; and operating in the entire entire Murang’a County. Our approach as a community organization seeks to empower the community through various pillars of development as highlighted in the vision 2030 as the country’s challenges. OUR PROGRAMMES:
1. Community empowerment and trainings
2. Health
3. Environmental management and conservation
4. Peace building and keeping

OUR ACTIVITIES
Tree planting , clean ups, Landscaping, Community Mobilization, Awareness creation on HIV & Aids, empowerment trainings to women and youth, Health campaigns and management sensitization sessions, Behaviour change Communication forums, initiation of environmental clubs, Road Safety Campaigns, Environment Management and Conservation Campaigns, peace building and keeping activities. OUR OPERATIONS
To achieve our objectives and activities, the organization work closely with partners and other organizations addressing same key community problems in the 7 constituencies of Murang'a County; Kangemi, Mathioya, Kiharu, Kigumo, Maragwa, Kandara and Gatanga. OUR MOTTO:

As we come out of the short low rains season and with the October–December long rains fast approaching, 🌧️ this is the perfect time for our members and the entire community to PLAN & PLANT TREES.
