Welcome to ‘GPEN Call to Prayer' this 48th Week of 2024 .
We continue to pray without ceasing for our lives, our families, the body of Christ and our nation(s).
OUR PRAYER ITEM(S) THIS WEEK.
Let us take time this week to pray for the SALVATION / WINNING OF SOULS among our FAMILY MEMBERS, RELATIVES, FRIENDS ,NATION and the WORLD.
Our Guiding Scripture(s)
1Timothy 2:4
For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 WHO DESIRES ALL MEN TO BE SAVED and to come to the knowledge of the truth NKJV
2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, NOT WILLING THAT ANY SHOULD PERISH, BUT THAT ALL SHOULD COME TO REPENTANCE.10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
WEEK 48 PRAYER POINTS
1.Pray for the SALVATION of your FAMILY MEMBERS , RELATIVES and FRIENDS.
ACTS 16:31
So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and YOU WILL BE SAVED, YOU AND YOUR HOUSEHOLD.”
ACTS 16:32
Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and TO ALL WHO WERE IN HIS HOUSE.
ACTS 16:34
Now when he had brought them into his house, he set food before them; and he rejoiced, HAVING BELIEVED IN GOD WITH ALL HIS HOUSEHOLD.
2.Pray for the SALVATION of the unsaved in your WORK PLACE ,NEIGHBORHOOD and LOCAL AREA.
ACTS 17
16 Now WHILE PAUL WAITED FOR THEM AT ATHENS, his spirit was provoked within him when he saw that THE CITY was [e]given over to idols. 17 Therefore he reasoned IN THE SYNAGOGUE with the JEWS AND WITH THE GENTILE WORSHIPERS, and IN THE MARKETPLACE daily with THOSE WHO HAPPENED TO BE THERE. …….Therefore, THE ONE WHOM YOU WORSHIP WITHOUT KNOWING, HIM I PROCLAIM TO YOU: 24 God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands
3.Pray for the Harvest of Souls in the ONGOING and UPCOMING evangelistic missions.
-Let us pray for harvest of souls in the ONGOING and UPCOMING EVANGELISTIC MEETINGS and MISSIONS.
Such meetings include:-
Crusades, camps, Missions , Revival Meetings, Conferences, Seminars etc
4. Let us Pray that believers will have A GREATER BURDEN to SHARE THE GOSPEL and WIN SOULS FOR CHRIST.
II TIMOTHY 4:2
PREACH THE WORD! Be ready in season and out of season.
5. Let us Pray for the AWAKENING of the Church in the area of EVANGELISM / WITNESSING and DISCIPLESHIP.
-Pray for SALVATION of many - KINGDOM EXPANSION -Acts3.
- Pray that the Church will INVEST more in SOUL WINNING programs .
-Pray for MORE LABOURERS who have the burden of winning souls.
-Pray for NEW BELIEVERS that they may GROW and be ESTABLISHED in the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ.
-Pray for effective FOLLOW UP and DISCIPLESHIP structures for new believers.
6.Pray that the MEDIA and INTERNET will become an EFFECTIVE TOOL FOR EVANGELISM.
*Pray that many people will be REACHED and CONVERTED to Christ through MEDIA EVANGELISM.
*Pray that God will raise many Ministers who are GRACED and ANOINTED to evangelize through:-
a. The MAINSTREAM MEDIA
-Television , Radio, Satellites etc .
b.The SOCIAL MEDIA
-Face book ,You tube , Instagram, Whats app, Tiktok etc.
7.Pray that there will be a STRONG CONVICTION that will drive many people to make decisions to receive Christ.
JOHN 16 8 And when He has come, HE WILL CONVICT THE WORLD OF SIN, and of righteousness, and of judgment: 9 of sin, because they do not believe in Me; 10 of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; 11 of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged. NKJV
Acts 2:47
And THE LORD ADDED to the church daily such as SHOULD BE SAVED.
8. Pray that there will be REVIVAL in the area of SOUL WINNING in KENYA, AFRICA, and all over THE WORLD.
MARK 16:15
GO INTO ALL THE WORLD AND PREACH THE GOSPEL TO EVERY CREATURE. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned NKJV
