It was a week , and on life skills , we majored into the importance of anger and stress management for both pupils and students .we had interactive sessions as we also looked into various breathing techniques.

We are looking forward to the start of the second week , which starts today . It will be our as our football team will be participating in a full week football tournament.

All schools in Kenya are currently in a 3 weeks break.Traditionally Jiamini_Cbo holds a school holiday program in Kiandutu slums, Thika to ensures children have access to not only 3 meals a day , but also have a safe space where they can play , learn basic lifeskills , get counselling as well as structured sports activities which in turn helps in their general development.Aafter a guardians meeting held in our centre in Kiandutu, the guardians endorsed and consented to the program. It will run for the next three weeks.

2nd week of our Jiamini school holiday program in settlements was an exciting one with a mixture of both studies and outdoor games where both boys and girls enjoyed football ⚽️ friendly matches with different teams.

Topics covered were :

*Interpersonal skills
*Super brain 🧠 yoga (Continuation)
*Goals and goal setting
* Two days of indoor and outdoor games
