Its just under 3 months since we started off Margaret in her empowerment journey and her farm looks very promising. 5 of her chicken from the chicken project are already lying eggs giving her a reliable source of income through the sale of eggs.

Serve to Empower Africa- SEA, Upendo 318 and Boy-Child Care KENYA had a very productive of week of engaging with families and boys.

The trip has ended on a high note and we wish Upendo318 team a safe flight back home to Atlanta Georgia.

After a 3 days journey from Georgia to kenya, Upendo 318 team finally arrived on monday night to a warm reception by their kenyan partners Serve to Empower Africa- SEA .
Passionate about serving families, there was no time wasting and yesterday was spent visiting and encouraging families through the journey of personal empowerment.
Both Rose and Duncan families are doing great and they couldnt hold back the joy of telling us how far in the empowerment journey they have gone. Both showed us with pride the achievement of the partnership and shared their big dreams with us.

We are excited to have one of us Cate Muiruri travel to the USA tonight for a 3 weeks official visit with our partners, donors and friends. We wish her safe travels and a productive time during her stay.

Daniel's family is our 2026 first beneficiary of our families empowerment program. Last year, this family had a house that was falling apart and Serve to Empower Africa- SEA and Upendo318 teamed up together and build them a house.

This week, SEA has started Daniel's family off in their empowerment journey with a chicken project, water storage tank and 2 sheep. With chichen and sheep, this family's empowerment journey will be faster as they are bound to generate extra income for their family basic needs.

A family that had lost hope for their future and that of their children is back on its feet with hope and dignity.

SEA is thankful to Upendo 318 for empowering us to promote and restore Hope and dignity in families through LOVE IN ACTION. Together many families will be impacted.

Empowerment through education is the best form of Empowerment. We are grateful to Serve to Empower Africa- SEA partners and friends for making it possible for us to invest in children by giving them the opportunity to acquire this form of Empowerment. SEA families empowerment approach is based on a family potential- (what a family has and their strength).
Samuel family had a broken down water pump that Serve to Empower Africa- SEA assisted with repairs to assist him resume his farming activity taking advantage of a river that neighbours his farm to irrigate his crops especially during dry seasons like its the case at the moment.

Such activity has increased Samuels opportunities to enjoy a healthy crop resulting to a good harvest increased sale and increased income.

Using the savings from the sale of tomatoes they grow on their farm using water from the river, Samuel family has afforded to buy a dairy Goat and dairy Cow both producing milk for family consumptiion and sale thus increasing their family income.

The result of all this is restored hope, pride and dignity in Samuel's family. SEA is thankful to our partners for powering us with resources to give real empowerment to families. 318 and Taryn Palmour
