KAPLETUNDO COMMUNITY ORGANISATION, is a registered (CBO) with Department of Gender and Social Services and an active Community based organization (CBO)operating in BOMET COUNTY, SOTIK SUB COUNTY.
The organization was established in 2009 at KAPLETUNDO WARD, KAPLETUNDO LOCATION SOTIK SUB COUNTY BOMET COUNTY.
The Community based organization have an operation office.
The community based organization advocates for:
1.HUMAN RIGHTS.
2.EDUCATION.
3.HEALTH
4.ENVIRONMENT/CLIMATE CHANGE.

ORGANIZATION PROFILE.
2009.
Registered in 2009 as a Self-help group: KAPLETUNDO YOUTH COMMUNITY ORGANISATION, with the Department of Gender and Social Services, Bureti District.
Participated in VECCO INTRENATIONAL-NGO _Capacity building training Program at Balek A Primary School_ Kapletundo Ward.
Participated in Tree Planting Program facilitated by by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports ,Sotik District
Participated in, KENYA RED CROSS BURETI BRANCH - YOUTH PROGRAM AT CHESILYOT GIRLS` Secondary School.
Hosted UWEZO KENYA in SOTIK District.
Undertook Tree planting and COMMUNITY Sanitation.
2010.
Participated in Training at Kisumu organize by WAFNET_ NGO in Kisumu County on Civic Education.
Participated in tree planting Program organized by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
Hosted UWEZO KENYA in SOTIK District.

Attended training organized by NATIONAL COALITION OF HUMAN RIGHTS DEFENDERS KENYA, ON ELECTION MONITORING, DOCUMENTATION AND PHYSICAL SECURITY AND DIGITAL SECURITY, in NAIROBI.

Participated in Election documentation and monitoring Training hosted by - INFORM ACTION.
Implemented a programme funded by EQUITAS NGO, on Advancing equality, social justice and respect for human dignity in Bomet County through human rights education.
Coordinated CITIZEN LED ASSESSSMENT in BOMET COUNTY, funded by USAWA AGENDA.
 Trained over 50 data Collectors and Village Coordinators across the county and supervised the task. Data collection exercise.
Attended National Civil Society Actors Summit Conference organized by The Defenders Coalition, MUHURI and The Civic Freedom Forum in Nairobi.
Conference objective/ summit were:
1.Mobilize and consolidate commitment by Civil Society actors towards pushing for identified legal and policy adoption/reforms
2.Secure commitments towards strengthening the civil society by relevant government agencies.
3.Connect perspectives on the civic space through a broadened participation of stakeholders working on human rights protection at national and grassroots level
