AfyaElimu CBO is a non profit making Community Based Organization established in 2013 to stimulate sustainable community solutions in Health, Education and Agriculture. Vision: A community with sustainable socio-economic and health solutions. Mission: To empower community members to embrace a people centered approach to community development initiatives in the spheres of Health, Education and Agri
culture. Strategic Objectives
1. To increase access to information and services that promote realization of globally accepted health, education and agricultural outcomes.
2. To bring about increased learning and awareness on the part of local communities to think, organize and exploit local opportunities/resources for community development.
3. To improve the quality and quantity of community participation in community development including civic participation. The CBO has offices in Kodiaga Market in Gem Sub County, Siaya and was officially launched by Hon. George Okode, Speaker of Siaya County Assembly on 16th June, 2016. AfyaElimu is managed by a Board of Directors which ensures that projects are implemented according to AfyaElimu policies and the laws of Kenya. As we seek for sponsorships, we derive our function and operations from the will of the members and partners to locally contribute to the realization of SDGs in Health, Education and Agriculture in Gem Sub County, Siaya Kenya.
