I’m proud to say that, with support from friends and well-wishers, I’m making a great change and impact in the community I serve. 🌱💛
The Power House is truly a game changer , low-cost, effective, and sustainable. With solar energy, I’ve ensured that water can now be pumped from the borehole for farming, livestock, and household and community needs, all while reducing carbon emissions.
The system also provides lighting at night, improving farm security and protecting valuable assets like the greenhouse, vertical gardens, and poultry structures.
This is what climate action looks like in action: clean energy + smart farming + stronger livelihoods. 🌍💡🌾

Today, as we celebrate Mashujaa Day in Kenya a day to honor heroes I take this moment to celebrate my longtime friend Mike.
Through his kindness, generosity, and compassion, Mike has helped our community access 800 liters of clean water by donating 200 KES (about $1.30 USD) to purchase 40 jerricans of water for local families. 💧
Because of his support, our community members especially children and women will have water today and tomorrow.Mike Marangi your heart for others makes you a true Shujaa.

By nurturing the soil, youth and women can build sustainable livelihoods and nourish their communities with fresh, nutritious food.

At Nils Oasis of Hope, we’ve seen how access to a constant water supply for irrigation empowers more youth and women to take charge of their futures. But water scarcity remains a major challenge across Siaya sub-counties.

If the County Government of Siaya can invest in digging boreholes, it will unlock the full potential of young people, enhance food production, and strengthen resilience against climate change.

Let’s build a future where no one goes hungry, and every young person has the tools to thrive.
