Much appreciation to SEEDBALLS KENYA for the continued partnership from 2023. The two species of trees donated; Acacia poliankata and Sesbania sesban have since grown. They were used to establish botanical gardens in 3 schools within Gem; Tatro, Anyiko & Bar Sauri Sec to highlight the significance of conservation of indigenous tree species on carbon sequestration.
Additionally some were planted in both community and private lands for land restoration, nitrogen fixation, and as a way of promoting Free living bee colonies. With this additional batch of 10kgs of Acacia poliankata and Acacia xanthophloea, the story of environment conservation increases, by involving the young environmental ambassadors.

Highlights of the meeting included:
i)Access for rights,resources & representation.
ii)Components include;documentation,capacity building,Women land rights reporting.
iii)We explored on how to harness the potential in all the stakeholders in the spirit of collaboration.
iv)Small holder farming land lease agreement forms available.
