🔴 BREAKING NEWS: Events Of Night-Out Before Ida Odinga Bodyguard Corporal Oduor Was Shot Dead In Love Triangle Emerge

The tragic death of Barrack Otieno Oduor, a trusted bodyguard of Ida Odinga, continues to spark public concern as investigators unravel events leading to the fatal shooting that occurred in the early hours of October 14, 2022.

Corporal Oduor’s untimely death followed a late-night outing with two friends Donar Kajwang (Governor KJ on Facebook) and Marion Ouma—an evening that turned fatal following a confrontation allegedly tied to a love triangle.

According to authorities, the three had spent the evening socializing at a popular club in Kisumu before heading to the woman's residence in Victoria Gardens Estate, Riat, Kisumu West Sub-county.

Unbeknownst to Oduor, tensions between his male companion and a nightclub manager, Collins Oulo Okundi, who was allegedly romantically involved with the same woman, had reached a boiling point.

The suspect reportedly saw the trio at Dondez Club in Kisumu while merrymaking. Angered by the sight, he returned to his workplace briefly before reappearing at the residence where the group had gathered.

An argument erupted between Kajwang and Okundi. In an effort to contain the situation, Oduor intervened, but the confrontation quickly turned violent.

In a shocking turn, the suspect is said to have disarmed Oduor, fired three shots, and fatally wounded him. Kajwang was also injured, sustaining a gunshot wound to the leg. The attacker then fled with Oduor’s firearm, prompting a swift police manhunt.

Witnesses described the final moments of Oduor’s life as calm and friendly, highlighting how he had been invited for a casual night out with no knowledge of the simmering conflict.

Investigations suggest that Oduor was an unintended victim caught in a love triangle involving his friend, the female companion, and the suspect.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the events, seeking to fully understand the motive and ensure justice is served.

Dotty, we only met once before you began your journey to Meru home to (The late Charles Ongondo MP Kasipul Kabondo). I remember my wife and your mother telling me that you were heading to Meru to stay with a family friend in search of a job.Your father campaigned for him and he won the elections . You went there in reciprocation for a well paying job that never was .

Dorty you were such a beautiful girl, soft-spoken, shy, and ever-smiling young woman.You bright future was cut short by this man .You went missing never to be seen .

Most of our communication was through phone calls, since you lived in Nairobi and I was working in Kisii. You disappeared before ever setting foot in our home. I remember inviting you once to Kisii so we could spend some time together — that never came to be.

Your mother was a deeply religious, warm-hearted, and prayerful woman. In the 20 years I knew her, she never once called me without asking about you. Each morning, when she opened her door, her prayer was the same: that one day, Dotty would come home.

I met your mum at Chemilil Sugar where you guys were staying when she was strong and healthy, weighing over 100 kgs — but over the years, her health declined, and she wasted away, still calling out your name. You were everything to her. She died with your name on her lips, asking every visitor who came to her hospital bed if they were you.

Now that the alleged perpetrator has met a cruel death, we believe someone out there knows what really happened at the home in Meru. Was Dotty killed? Was she sacrificed? Is she out of the country, or is she still alive and hidden somewhere? The family is ready for answers — and ready for closure.

Dotty, your sister Dorcas, sister Nancy, brothers Bob and Babu, and your father (Goga), all stand with open arms, hoping to welcome you back. And if you are no longer with us, we plead — let the truth be known, so you can be brought home and laid to rest with dignity.

It is a sorrowful time. But we hold on to hope, and to the truth that must someday come to light.

Charles Ong’ondo Were, the Member of Parliament for Kasipul, has been shot dead by unknown assailants riding a motorbike. The controversial legislator had been linked to the mysterious deaths and disappearances of over 13 individuals in recent months.

Among the unresolved cases is that of Doughty Apondi (pictured), who vanished in 2009 after Were allegedly took her to Meru, promising her employment. Since then, she has never been seen.
