MWIHOKO- THE FUTURE CREATIVE HUB IN KIAMBU COUNTY.
Great Mwihoko people, I great you.The creative potential of Mwihoko is like a bride whose face is hidden for a time, but soon when the right man gets her hand in marriage( the future MCA with a vision for Mwihoko), the face will be unveiled and all will praise the beauty that is Mwihoko.
Do you know Mwihoko is home to famous Creatives most notably Nadia Mukami, DJ Kalonje, Henry Desagu, Papa Nyosto of Hood Boys, DJ Deco of the BigBang Ent, Collo Blue talented dancer and singer of 'Up Burukanga'. These are just but the notable ones. In Mwihoko, the numbers of music producers, singers, dancers, actors , DJs and all artists are endless. The creative force that can be generated in Mwihoko would be almost like hoods like Eastlands that boast notable creatives from their soil. Na bado.

Picture this: Mwihoko Festival. Well organised and structured. Starting during the day with performances from the musicians,as children ride horses, bouncing castles,face painting...the adults are sitted on the grass , enjoying the live performances. Food vendors everywhere. Art on display and merchandise.
Then at night we host an adults only play. The adults of Mwihoko congregate and watch a play by talented Actors from Mwihoko. Then retire back home.
How would such an experience leave you feeling about your home area? Tafakari hayo.

Haya basi, Tusaidie nyinyi wakubwa kwa umri kidogo.

We need a youth space like yesterday. An area we could be harness our skills in music and its production, dance, film and all art forms and talents.

An area we could host shows for the community and actually have you attend. Where our entrepreneurs can sell their products and merchandise during Mwihoko shows.

We were told the chief's camp at KLite is ours but kwa ground vitu vichange-anga...

The conversation should go beyond the WANTAM/ TUTAM and FOCUS on electing the BEST leaders on at every level.
Voters should choose competent MCAs, MPs, Senators and Governors based on INTERGRITY , VISION & PERFORMANCE, not just based on the party.

Real change begins with strong representation. A strong leader who can push for Mwihoko every where they go. They live, breathe and ARE Mwihoko. That is why we the youths of Mwihoko should endorse one of our own. This is our time.

The Character Test: Who Fits This Job?
1. Can they make laws that solve real problems?
Understand and debate policies
Fix issues like garbage, biashara struggles, poor roads
👉 If they can’t explain solutions clearly, they can’t legislate.

2. Can they fight for Mwihoko’s money?
Billions go to Ruiru—Mwihoko must get its share.
Do they question where money goes?
Do they follow up on projects?
👉 If they just clap for budgets, they won’t deliver development.

3. Can they represent you daily?
Speak up for roads, drainage, security, youth
Be present beyond campaign season
👉 If you only see them during elections, that’s your answer.

Don’t just listen to promises—study the person.

A serious MCA should be:
Available to His/her people
Visionary
Inspirational to the people, someone we are proud to represent us.
Sharp – understands policy, not guesswork
Bold – not easily intimidated, can question authority
Accountable – visible, communicative, and answerable
People-first – serves, not shows off
