🚨 Zero Tolerance for FGM: Stand with Survivors!

Today, we reaffirm our commitment to ending Female Ge***al Mutilation (FGM) worldwide. FGM is a grave violation of human rights that affects millions of women and girls. Survivors face lifelong physical and emotional consequences, but there is hope, and there are resources available for those who need support.

If you or someone you know is affected by FGM, here are important resources that offer help and healing:

🔹Ustawi GBV Initiative - we offer programs that support help and prevent FGM and Gender Based Violence as a whole
🔹 End FGM European Network (EFN) – Offers resources and guidance for survivors, as well as advocacy for FGM prevention.
🔹 The Orchid Project – Supports programs to end FGM globally and provides survivor-focused support.
🔹 Tostan – Offers educational programs and support services for communities to abandon FGM.
🔹 African Women’s Health Center – Provides medical, psychological, and emotional support to survivors.
🔹 Girls Not Brides – Connects survivors with local support networks and provides information on global FGM movements.
🔹 UNICEF – Provides comprehensive reports and resources on the prevention of FGM and support for survivors.
