Our girls are finally getting the recognition they deserve, especially in Soccer which has predominantly been reserved for boys/men. Six months ago, we began a bold journey to build a professional ladies’ football team — with no money and little hope, but with a big dream.

Mumbuni Express Queens Football Club, a proud product of Mumbuni Express Sports Academy, was formed with one clear mission: to play and win competitive games.

Mobilizing and training players has required serious preparation. From training schedules to transport, from jerseys to medical support — the biggest challenge has been sporting equipment. The main struggle was a lack of football boots for our players.

We started by sharing soccer shoes with academy players. It was not easy, but our determination was stronger than our limitations.

Today, we are proud to say that we now have boots for our players, and the team continues to grow stronger every day.
