He’s not just holding a placard. He’s holding a new perspective, one that challenges what has been taught.

A simple truth that challenges years of silence and stigma. When boys learn to see periods as normal, they become part of the solution.

Breaking this mindset not only empowers girls to feel safe and confident, but it also builds a community rooted in empathy and respect.

They may have called it unclean, unworthy,
but heaven calls you wonderfully made.

Psalms 139:14

Rewriting the story,
one girl at a time,
one community at a time.

April begins for us with deep gratitude for the impact you helped us achieve in March.

Thank you to everyone who gave, shared our project with others, prayed, and showed up on our project days to serve in different capacities.

You truly live out our slogan every single day.

Enabling her future 💯

6 months of uninterrupted learning.

6 months of confidence and comfort.

All from something as simple as access to pads.

Because no girl should miss school because of her period.❤️

Thank you, Mpesa Foundation, for the pads donation.

This week's reminder; God’s desire is for us to share so that we can all be in a place of equality, where no one is lacking.

When God blesses you with more than you need, be willing to help someone in need. And just as importantly, be open to asking for and receiving help when you need it.

From confusion and fear, wondering why there was blood on her clothes, hiding in shame, and questioning herself, she has changed. Now, she understands that her period is a natural part of womanhood, a sign of life and health.

It's not something to hide, but something to embrace with pride and gratitude.

This was in the year 2024 when we first set foot in the Olekemunke community. At that time, the country was experiencing drought in several regions, and this community was among the most affected. Having food on the table was a daily struggle for many families. Students would come to school not necessarily because education was their priority, but because the school offered porridge at lunchtime, something many of them could not get at home.

When families are struggling just to find food, who thinks about the need for a sanitary pad? For some parents, it was not only unaffordable but also something they had little knowledge about. As a result, many girls missed school, hid in shame, and lived with uncertainty every month.

But two years down the line, what God has done in this community is incredible.

Keep following as we continue to share the transformation happening in Olekemunke and the journey we are still walking with them.

Thank you for your support. You make all of this possible.

Happy International Women’s Day!❤️

This year's theme "Give to Gain" reminds us that when we invest in girls and women, we all gain through stronger families, stronger communities, and a brighter future for all.

Thank you for being part of the journey.

Today, we celebrate the incredible people who make our community what it is, those who give their time, skills, and resources to help carry our vision forward.

Team, we see you. We appreciate you. ❤️

If we were to post every single one of you, our timeline still wouldn’t be enough. These photos represent just a few of the many who make this work possible.

Thank you, once again.

❤️
