🌍 Education Beyond the Classroom – A DECC–Kenya Reflection
Under Disabilities Empowerment & Communities Care – Kenya (DECC–Kenya), we believe that true education is not limited to classroom learning.
As persons with disabilities (PWDs) and community partners, we continue to learn through awareness, cultural exchange, and research about our beautiful continent — Africa.
Through our studies and visual awareness posters, we have explored:
🌐 Africa’s Greatness in Size and People – from the vast lands of Algeria to the small but proud islands of Seychelles.
💰 Africa’s Wealth and Growth – led by strong economies such as Nigeria, South Africa, and Egypt.
👩🏽🤝👨🏾 Africa’s Natural Beauty and Dignity – reflected across nations like Ethiopia, Kenya, Ghana, and Morocco.
🤝 DECC–Kenya’s Cultural Awareness Mission – uniting persons with and without disabilities through learning, creativity, and mutual respect.
Every flag, statistic, and story teaches us something valuable: that education belongs to everyone — in schools, in communities, and even in the hearts of those who never had the chance to attend formal classes.
At DECC–Kenya, we proudly declare that PWDs are not limited — we are lifelong learners, teachers, and nation builders.
