It is important to emphasis that we will seek to facilitate our clients with information and skills that will enable them to join the job market or establish their own businesses. Cyber Café Services This will use four computers in order to limit the operating costs in the initial stages. The aim of this will be to expose the clients to the Internet and to services/sites that offer Resume postings

. This will also be an income generating service in the Centre. Computer Bureau Services This takes into account secretarial services, photocopy, telephone services, desktop publishing, scanning and binding services. The services will also be an income opportunity for the Centre. Facilitating Career Choices

This will be the backbone of the Centre and all efforts will be harnessed to make it successful. Assessment Testing
There will be assessment tests administered upon each client to assist the pinpoint careers that suit his/her interests, values and personality. This is hoped to encourage job hunting based on passion rather money. The process of assessment will take five main steps:
• Identifying one's strength and weakness
• Identifying one's interests and comparing them with one's strengths
• Identifying one's values
• Assessing one's values
• Assessing the interplay between one's strengths, values and interests
(b). Career Advice
Career consultations will be offered on one-to-one-sessions to put to use the results of the assessment testing. These consultations will assist the clients to become focused and informed on their career decisions. Career Fair Information
A yearly career fair, to which both prospective employers/business financiers and employees (clients) are invited, will be organized. This will give the clients an opportunity to find out more about the prospective employers or business financiers. The employers/business financiers will give talks and outline

Dream Achievers Youth Organization (DAYO) participated in an International Youth Day engagement with young people in Mombasa, focusing on youth empowerment, leadership and opportunities.

The youth were encouraged to reject violence, division and political manipulation, and instead demand clear plans from leaders on education, skills, employment and enterprise.

The engagement emphasized the importance of creating opportunities for young people in enterprise, sports, technology, culture, the blue economy and the creative sector.

Dream Achievers Youth Organization Kenya brought together Climate Champions and key stakeholders at Tononoka Hall, Mombasa, for a Climate Champions Validation and Sustainability Planning Workshop under the DARAJA Project.

The session created a space to share experiences, look at what is working, identify gaps in how communities receive and use information on flooding, extreme heat, and changing weather patterns, and discuss what can be done better.

Participants also worked together on practical ideas to keep the Climate Champions and Community Hubs active and effective in supporting communities to prepare for and respond to climate-related challenges.

Dream Achievers Youth Organization Kenya in Partnership with County Government of Mombasa, Youth Empowerment Program Initiative(YEPI) and other stakeholders participated in an entrepreneurship roundtable, pre-event activity to celebrate The International Youth Day which will be marked on Wednesday 12 August 2026 at Tononoka Social Hall under the theme "Different Contexts, Common Aspiration.
The purpose of the activity was to focus on practical youth entrepreneurship and economic opportunities in Mombasa County which is one of DAYO is thematic areas. The activity also addressed issues accesibility of county opportunities and programs to youths who wish to venture into businesses or sustain their existing ones, who is left behind in information and opportunity accessibility and the areas that needs to be strengthened towards having an empowered youth in the community.
Young entrepreneurs had the opportunities to identify the barriers for youths to thrive in business such as higher licensing fees for Small and Medium Enterprises(SMEs) which hinders youth from self-employment and economic independence. Young entreprenuers also presented their recommendation to the county Government to be implemented towards having a safe and an empowered community.

We are honored to have Dr. Mercy Karanja, Consultant Psychiatrist and Head of the Division of Mental Health at the Kenya's Ministry of Health, as the Conference President of the Regional Mental Health Conference 2026.

Under the theme, "Voices of Experience Empowering Healing: Exploring Research, Innovation, and Systemic Change across the Region," the conference will bring together people with lived experience of mental health conditions, researchers, mental health professionals, policymakers, innovators, and advocates to explore evidence-informed, people-centered approaches to strengthening mental health systems across the region.

Dream Achievers Youth Organization Kenya officially signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Community Hubs under the DARAJA Project, marking an important milestone in strengthening community partnerships for climate resilience.
The signing ceremony brought together Community Hubs and representatives from various stakeholder organizations to witness the formalization of the partnership and reaffirm a shared commitment to advancing community-led climate action. Through this collaboration, partners will work together to strengthen local capacity, promote sustainable solutions, and build resilient communities.
