Dream Achievers Youth Organization Kenya through the Mwashi wa Muhogo Project implemented under the Programme in partnership with and funded by the Foundation, participated in the 2nd Agitech Grand Expo, Malindi Edition, an event that brought together agricultural actors to showcase milestones and innovations within the agricultural sector.

We were privileged to be hosted by the County Department of Trade, who provided space at their booth to showcase products from BlueBiz Programme beneficiaries. The platform created an opportunity for participants to promote their value-added cassava products, including cassava tambi and modified cassava flour, while networking with partners, county officials, and other stakeholders.

We are proud to share that all products showcased were sold out, demonstrating the growing market potential of cassava value addition and the enterprise potential of young women and men within the cassava value chain.

Dream Achievers Youth Organization Kenya, in partnership with SwahiliPot Hub Foundation under GOYN Mombasa and with support from Imaginable Futures, continues to strengthen its impact through the Inclusive Life Skills through Youth Network Project.

Today, our team participated in an in-house capacity-building session on Gender Equality and the Integration of Gender in Programming and Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E). The session enhanced our understanding of embedding gender-responsive approaches across programme design, implementation, monitoring, and learning to ensure interventions are inclusive, equitable, and leave no one behind.

Investing in staff capacity on gender mainstreaming and gender-sensitive M&E strengthens accountability, improves programme quality, and contributes to more meaningful and sustainable outcomes for the communities we serve.
