Across Kenya, young people may live different realities and face different challenges, but our aspirations connect us. We want opportunities, decent livelihoods, quality education, inclusion, a voice in decisions that affect us, and a Kenya where every young person has a fair chance to thrive.

This International Youth Day, Manifesto Yetu celebrates our diversity while bringing our shared aspirations into one collective agenda. Different voices, different experiences, one shared vision for Kenya.

As a champion of this manifesto, Eliud believes that county development thrives when leaders work with institutions, not around them. He is committed to building bridges that bring resources, accountability, and opportunity closer to the people of Kakamega.

Nelly aspires to vie for Women Representative because she believes young people are at the center of the change Kenya and Africa need. She is not waiting for permission to lead. She is stepping up because she trusts her generation to build a better future.

As an advocate for PWD inclusion, she believes every young person deserves the chance to lead. Origin, colour, and body physique should never determine who gets a seat at the table.

Leadership belongs to anyone with the vision and the will to serve.

Her aspiration is a call to every young person watching. Change starts when we stop waiting and start showing up.
