In honor of our late daughter and sister Rose Wambui Mutahi, we have created this fund that aims to help young people aged 18-25 in the difficult time they are going through after their stay at our Lipela orphanage in Kenya. Rose lost her life to a heart attack at 23. Until her death, she was incredibly helpful, hopeful. She most believed in kindness and consideration. Rose had a life both in Denm
ark and Kenya. She grew up partly at Lipela Children's Home and has been following, visiting the children of Lipela every year. Therefore, she could see herself in every child and as young individual growing at children home Lipela. Though, that has brought a lot of concern for Rose to see the challenges young people face when leaving the Children's Home - they are without any kind of support and on their own, with no parents and no one to seek relief from. THAT’S why Rose’s family hopes to honor ROSE’S MISSION to act, to help, and to bring awareness to the world’s most vulnerable children and young people. https://lipelakenya.com you can read about the Children’s Home Lipela where Rose grew up and where she and her family has given the children of Lipela a new start to their lives. We will underline that Lipela Children's Home is created only to help children age 0-17 years – Rose Foundation and ROSE’S MISSION purpose is to help young people from the age 18-25 years. Rose’s family established “Rose Foundation” whose purpose is to pass on Rose’s hopes and dreams.
