Enough is Enough. 🖤✊🏾

Yesterday, women and allies across Kenya took to the streets to raise their voices against femicide and gender-based violence. Every woman deserves to live, dream, work, and walk freely without fear.

Behind every statistic is a daughter, a mother, a sister, a friend a life that mattered and a future that was stolen. We cannot remain silent while women continue to lose their lives to violence.

At LPK, we stand in solidarity with all those demanding justice, accountability, protection, and safer communities for women and girls across Kenya.

The fight against femicide is not just a women's issue it is a human issue. It requires all of us to speak up, challenge harmful norms, support survivors, and create a society where every woman is valued and protected.

No more violence.
No more silence.
No more femicide.

At LPK, we are family. ❤️

Today, we continue standing with one of our own, Elizabeth, who recently underwent surgery and is now recovering well. We are grateful to God for His faithfulness, strength, and healing upon her life during this season.

Thank you to everyone who has kept her in your prayers, encouraged her, and walked alongside her through this journey. Your love and support mean so much. ✨

We continue praying for complete healing and restoration as she regains her strength day by day. ❤️🇰🇪

May is Mental Health Month ❤️

Have you checked on your loved ones lately?
Not just asking “Are you okay?” but truly checking in?

How are you really feeling?
Are you resting enough?
Are you carrying burdens silently?
Who do you talk to when life feels heavy?
Have you given yourself grace lately?

Sometimes the strongest smiles hide the deepest struggles. A simple conversation, a listening ear, or a kind message can mean the world to someone.

This month, let us choose kindness, patience, and compassion with one another across all generations young and old alike. Mental health matters for all of us. ✨

You are not alone. 🤍

At LPK’s WEEP Program, our ladies are not only learning vocational skills, but also undertaking life skills that will help them thrive in different businesses and opportunities even after they graduate from the program. ✨

From financial stewardship, confidence building, teamwork, communication, and entrepreneurship, we are preparing women to become resilient, independent, and empowered members of their communities. 🥰

Because true empowerment goes beyond skills it’s about building women who believe in themselves and their future. 🌱

We were honored to host the Administration Officers from Ngong and Matasia at LPK as we shared more about the work we are currently doing in our communities bringing hope, empowerment, education, and restoration to vulnerable families. 🤝✨

It was also a pleasure to be introduced to our new Area Chief, Joyce, whom we look forward to working closely with in serving the Matasia community. We believe that strong partnerships and collaboration are key to creating lasting impact and positive change.

Together, we continue building stronger and healthier communities. 💛
