Yesterday, we had a powerful and impactful session with Tareto Africa beneficiaries, creating a safe space for learning, sharing, and growth. We engaged in meaningful conversations around teenage pregnancy, FGM, peer pressure, and the many challenges affecting teenage girls today.
Through open dialogue, mentorship, and education, we empowered these young girls with knowledge, confidence, and the courage to make informed decisions about their lives. It was inspiring to see their willingness to speak up, support one another, and commit to building a brighter future.
Together, we continue to stand for every girl’s right to safety, dignity, and opportunity. 💚✨

Menstrual hygiene is not a luxury it’s a right. Every girl deserves access to sanitary products, clean water, and safe spaces to manage her period with dignity.
When we educate, support, and break the stigma, we keep girls in school, protect their health, and empower their future.

When drought strikes, girls are often the first to suffer pulled out of school, burdened with longer walks for water, and in some communities, seen as a means to secure livestock through dowry.
This is the harsh reality where climate change and harmful practices intersect. But it doesn’t have to be this way.
Climate action is more than protecting the environment it’s protecting girls. By investing in sustainable solutions and empowering communities, we can break this cycle and create a future where every girl is valued, safe, and free to thrive.
From one community to another, let’s stand together to protect our girls and our planet. 💚

We visited Pulung'a Primary School in Narok town where we spent time teaching and empowering young girls, followed by a powerful social session on FGM, gender-based violence, and the lasting effects these harmful practices have on their lives.
Through open conversations, we created a safe space for the girls to learn, speak up, and understand their rights

Teenage pregnancy is more than a statistic it’s a life-changing reality that can deeply affect a young girl’s future.
At a time meant for growth, education, and self-discovery, many girls are forced to navigate motherhood before they are ready. This often leads to interrupted education, limited career opportunities, and increased vulnerability to poverty.
Beyond the physical risks, the emotional and mental toll can be overwhelming fear, stigma, isolation, and loss of confidence. Many young girls also face rejection from family and society, making an already difficult journey even harder.
Every girl deserves the chance to dream, learn, and thrive.
Let’s protect her future through education, open conversations, access to reproductive health services, and community support. Together, we can create a safe environment where girls are empowered to make informed choices and live out their full potential. 💜

Today we celebrate the strength, resilience, and power of women everywhere. 🌍💜
Women are the backbone of our communities and economies. They nurture families, lead businesses, grow food, educate the next generation, and drive innovation and change. When women are empowered, societies prosper and futures become brighter.

At Tareto Africa, we see this power every day through our work with girls and women advancing climate action, education, and protection from gender-based violence. By empowering women and girls, we are building stronger communities and a more just and sustainable future.

We have officially opened the Craig Wilson Classroom, created in honour and memory of Craig Wilson, whose kindness continues to shape futures far beyond his lifetime.
The space was officially opened by Clive & Ann McIntyre of Barnabas Outreach Trust (UK), together with Presiding Bishop Simpai of Covenant Church International, in collaboration with Tareto Africa Org.
This classroom stands as more than bricks and desks it is a place where girls rescued from FGM and child marriage can learn in safety, rebuild confidence, and dream again through education, mentorship, and empowerment.
A legacy of generosity now lives where hope grows every day.
