Reaching Out to the Vulnerable and Needy in Kenya. They also provide these young women with a safe house, educational scholarships and vocational training.

Over the past fifteen years, Mission With A Vision (MWV) has helped nearly 1,000 Kenyan teenagers seeking to escape female ge***al mutilation and childhood marriage. Working with few resources, but with an unreserved commitment to the well-being of children, the Mission’s staff works tirelessly — frequently at great personal risk — to safeguard and educate local youngsters. Wherever possible, effo

rts are made to work with community elders to help the girls reconcile with their families, a delicate task that frequently requires months of negotiation and counseling. The Mission also supports the education of more than 100 local boys and girls in an effort to provide quality education to the rural poor and because educated parents are far less likely to subject their daughters to ge***al cutting or use childhood marriage to settle family debts.

Always thankful to Moody Endowment Fund for the donation of this tractor in 2017 through African Children Haven. The tractor has been of great help for food production. It has also been of great help with transportation safehouse supplies during the rainy season when no vehicle can reach our Nairasirasa safehouse.

We thank all our sponsors and supporters with the KCSE results out,we can say our girls did well. We had three who fell with the grade B. Five within the range of C and two with D+. This means 3 of our candidates qualified for university while all the others qualified for middle level college. Thank you all for your continued support.

One of our girls Alicent Sekeyian just got married to a man of her choice in a beautiful wedding that started its procession at the safehouse. It is occasions like this that give us the stamina to fight on. Thank you all our sponsors for making such memorable occasions happen.

Mission With A Vision Has been engaged in community engagements over the issues of FGM and Child Marriage. We have had very meaningful engagement over the past one year with support from UNFPA and Mundo comporante in Loita division of Narok county . Our target is to bring down the rates of FGM in Loita from 97% to 77 % in the next three years. To bring down Child marriage from 50% to 30% in the next 3 years. We believe this can be achieved through the projects we have kicked off which is enduing FGM and early Marriage through a mindset shift"

With support from UNFPA and Mundo comporante Mission with a Vision has embarked into a mission to reach 30,000 students in the next one year with empowerment on why harmful cultural practices must be abandoned. Our team of former rescued girls who are now professionals in various fields are making it happen. We are looking for further support especially to purchase a small four-wheel vehicle for this programe. Our theme is " Ending FGM and Child marriage through mindset change".
