SOTUA ANG' CBO we are conducting a series of trainings on Business and Human Rights in Karuka Village, Keekonyokie Ward, Narok County. The training, attended by community members concerned about potential project impacts from the Geothermal Development Company (GDC), focused on transparency, fair compensation, and protecting land rights. Participants learned about the Free Prior and Informed Consent(FPIC) process and contracting principles to strengthen their bargaining power. They are now seeking legal support to ensure their voices and rights are respected.
