Nyekweri Kimintet Community Forest Conservation Trust hold its 3rd Inaugural Annual General Meeting (AGM) today convened by the chair of the Trust Mr.Peter Ole Tompoy as is a requirement by the Trust Deed to update Members/Landowners of it's progress, challenges and ambitions in 2026 and beyond.
The event concluded by election of 2 Lease Oversight Committee to foresee a commitment to control growth of fences, deforestation among other threats to Wildlife in the area to enhance continued harmonious coexistence for people and Wildlife.

Mara Conservancy Warden thanks the Trust Landowners for deciding to open up a Wildlife corridor to the Maasai Mara National Reserve (MMNR) and for their continued efforts to protect Wildlife.He emphasized that this is only possible if we come together as a Community.

He further assured of Mara Conservancy support to intensify patrols with the Trust rangers to boost Wildlife Security in the area.

Day 1 of the C3B trainings Workshop in partnership with The Maa Trust.

The Comprehensive Capacity Building Workshops started today and will run for the next 2 days.

This trainings covers both Saparingo and Enkereri villages and includes comprehensive trainings on business skills,Gender and S*x and Women's and girl child rights.

This trainings are geared towards defending rights,protecting nature and restoring health for a sustainable healthy ecosystem where both people and Wildlife thrive.
