New Life Africa International (NLAI) is a non-profit organization founded by the Danish couple, Susanne and Leif Madsen, together with the Kenyan Pastor David Ford in 1996. It is run by the founders together with the additional NLAI board members and employed staff. NLAI runs two children homes, two free nursery schools and one free primary school. One of the nursery schools is located next to the
dump site in Nakuru and is called New Life Africa Tumaini. Dress making classes are also offered as well as computer classes. NLAI currently supports crisis centers for women, run by FPFK Church. Besides working with our own schools we follow and support students and former students from our nursery and primary schools. NLAI is built on a Christian foundation and sees all people as equal no matter their age, race, s*x, political status or religion.
