How it began
The orphanage began its operations in 2008 with four children who were orphaned during the period of violence that occurred after the elections in Kenya. Located in the suburb of Kiamunyi, Nakuru, the children's home currently houses 32 children between orphans and abandoned children. Most of the children go to school, except for younger ones who stay at the orphanage all day. The house has a staff of 5 people who welcome volunteers' help to take care of the children, assisting them in emotional and cognitive development.
