🎉 Wrapping up the Leadership & Governance Training! 🎉

Today, we closed an amazing 3-day journey with the Kenya Community Development Foundation (KCDF). The final session was all about building financial resilience through adaptive governance — giving organizations the chance to reflect, reconnect, and reimagine their path from sustainability to resilience.

✨ Yesterday’s sessions were equally powerful, covering: Resource Mobilization & pitching Governance , credibility, and Donor Confidence

For SPEAK Kenya, this workshop has been a real eye-opener. Strengthening our structures and resilience means we’re better equipped to achieve our vision and make a lasting impact in the communities we serve.

We’re excited to take these lessons forward and keep building stronger, more sustainable organizations. 💪🌍

SPEAK KENYA participated in the Nakuru County Technical Working Group for Gender meeting held at the NGEC Nakuru office. The engagement provided valuable insights into the Intergovernmental Consultation Framework for Gender Sectors and strengthened stakeholder commitment towards advancing gender issues across the county.

The session also focused on grouping stakeholders according to the various gender sector thematic areas to enhance coordination, collaboration, and impact.

For SPEAK KENYA, participation in such forums is important as it strengthens partnerships, amplifies community voices, informs advocacy strategies, and ensures that gender concerns are addressed through collective action and inclusive policy engagement.

Together, through collaboration and advocacy, we can continue creating a county where every voice counts and gender equality is prioritized.
