Today we visited our dear sister Mary (not pictured) and her family, simply to be present, to encourage them, and to remind them that they are not walking this journey alone.

The battle against cancer has not been an easy one. There have been challenges, uncertainties, and difficult days along the way. Yet through it all, God’s grace has continued to sustain them, and His faithfulness has never failed.

We spent precious time fellowshipping together, sharing words of hope, laughter, and encouragement. Most importantly, we joined our hearts in prayer, lifting our sister before the Lord and trusting Him for healing, strength, comfort, and peace for the entire family.

As we left, we were reminded that even in life’s hardest seasons, God’s presence remains constant. We continue to stand with this family in faith and love, believing that the One who holds tomorrow is holding them today.

Please keep our sister and her family in your prayers.🙏❤️

Today, we took baby Johnson to a special clinic at Rhonda Hospital. After the clinic, we visited our young mother’s home together with CHP Mr. Enoch for an assessment visit.

The assessment visit helps us understand the home environment, living conditions, and support systems of our young mothers. This enables us to identify their needs and plan appropriate support, including their successful reintegration into the community when the time comes.

We remain committed to supporting the health and well-being of both mother and child through continuous care, follow-up, and guidance.❤️

Recently, we were pleased to host visitors from WEL, who introduced us to a new database system for recording and managing information for the women and girls we serve.

This system will help improve record-keeping, data security, and service delivery, enabling us to better support the individuals and families we serve. We are grateful for their support and commitment to strengthening our capacity through innovative and sustainable solutions. God bless you.🙏

Today, we proudly joined the National Memorial Procession to honor the memories of women and children whose lives have been lost to femicide, gender-based violence, and other forms of preventable violence.

The procession served as a powerful reminder that behind every statistic is a life, a family, and a community forever changed by loss. It brought together organizations, advocates, survivors, families, and members of the public to collectively mourn, remember, and demand urgent action to address the growing crisis of violence against women and children.

As an organization dedicated to protecting, empowering, and advocating for vulnerable women and girls, we stand in solidarity with survivors and affected families. We call for strengthened prevention measures, timely access to justice, survivor-centered support services, and greater accountability to ensure that every woman and child can live in safety, dignity, and freedom.

Today was not only a day of remembrance but also a call to action. We honor those we have lost by continuing to advocate for a society where violence has no place, where survivors are supported, and where every woman and child is protected and valued.

Together, we remember. Together, we raise our voices. Together, we work toward a future free from violence.

Meet Mary (not her real name), a 17 year old mother to an 11 month old baby boy. She was referred to us by a Community Health Promoter (CHP) from Rhonda through Rhonda Police Station after experiencing child abuse and neglect from her mother following her early pregnancy.

Due to the difficult and unsafe environment at home, Mary and her infant were forced to sleep on the streets, exposing them to even greater risks and vulnerability. The trauma, rejection, and lack of basic support have deeply affected both the young mother and her child.

At the centre, we have stepped in to provide immediate support and protection for them. This includes safe shelter, basic needs, medical care, psychosocial support, counselling, and emotional care as we work on a long-term solution for their wellbeing and stability.

Our goal is to restore hope and safety for Mary and her baby while empowering her towards a better and more secure future.❤️
