At Jimmia, we have an Education Support Program that helps children from vulnerable families access and remain in school, even when financial and family circumstances make it difficult.

Through the generosity of our supporters, these children are given the opportunity to learn, grow, dream and work towards a better future. We believe that education is more than simply going to school as it can open doors to opportunities, independence and a better quality of life.

Our program is made possible through different forms of support. Some people help with school fees, while others contribute towards uniforms, books, stationery and other essential learning materials. Every contribution, no matter how small, helps ease the burden and removes some of the barriers that may keep a child out of school.

To everyone who continues to make this possible, thank you for investing in the future of these children and supporting their families. May God bless you abundantly. 🙏❤️

Today was another good day at the centre.😊 A beautiful time for the women, girls, and our volunteers to learn, share, and bond.

Today Marvel begins a new chapter in Grade 4 at her new school. 🥳🥳

We are truly grateful to everyone who has played a part in making this possible. It has truly been a team effort, and we appreciate each and every one of you.

This is an incredible opportunity for Marvel to learn, grow, and have a better chance at becoming the person she dreams of being.

May God bless everyone who has contributed in one way or another, and may He continue to guide and bless Marvel throughout this new journey.

Today marked the end of our August Holiday Children’s Program, and what a beautiful time it has been! ❤️

We’re grateful for all the fun, learning, laughter, and beautiful moments shared throughout the program. We were also happy to share gifts and a few school essentials with the children as they prepare to go back to school. 🎒📚

A special thank you to all our amazing volunteers for giving their time, energy, and love to make this program possible. Your support means so much to us and to the children. ❤️

Another beautiful day at the centre with the ongoing children’s program.❤️

The children spent the day playing, learning, sharing activities, dancing, and even making their own presentations. Seeing their excitement, confidence, and joy in these little moments is what makes the program so special.

Sometimes, it’s the simplest moments that remind us why we do this work. ❤️

Watching the girls and women play with the little ones, laugh, connect and simply enjoy being together in a moment with no chaos, no worries, just love, peace and harmony.

For some, these moments may seem ordinary. But here, they mean so much. They are a chance to experience the other side of life. A life filled with safety, love, laughter and the freedom to simply be.

This is why we do what we do. To create moments where they can just be children, mothers, sisters, friends… and enjoy life. 🌸

Whenever schools close for the holidays, we host a children’s program throughout the week.

Children from the community spend half of their day at the centre, taking part in fun learning activities, playing games, enjoying snacks, and simply having a great time together.🌸

Inside this beautiful room, filled with talent and where ideas come to life, is the incredible work of the women and girls at our centre.

As part of our Economic Empowerment Program, they learn practical skills such as bag making, mat weaving, soap making and beadwork. More than just making beautiful products, they are building skills they can carry with them long after they leave the centre.

These skills give them the opportunity to earn a living, start small businesses, and become more financially independent. Every handmade piece is a step towards a future where they can support themselves.
