We have received information about this lady who is lost and is currently at Kaka James Centre, along Pipeline – Mzee Wanyama Road, a few metres from Jimmia. She appears to be vulnerable and may be having difficulty understanding her surroundings and the situation she is in.

From the information received, she is said to be from Manyani, while her parents reportedly live in Bondeni, Nakuru.

We are appealing to anyone who knows her or her family to help us reconnect her with her loved ones. If you recognise her or have any information that could help us reach her family, please contact us on 0703888111.

As a community, we have a responsibility to look out for one another. Let’s show compassion, come together, and help ensure she is safe.

First and foremost, we thank God for enabling us to see the end of this roofing project. What once seemed like a long journey has finally come to completion, and our hearts are full of gratitude.🥳❤️

To our supporters who came together, contributed, and helped make this possible, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your kindness and generosity have given us more than just a roof; you have given us peace of mind and a safer, more comfortable space for our women, girls, and babies.

Today, when the rain falls, we can sit under our new roof without the worry of rushing to move things or find safety from the rain. Something as simple as this means so much to us, and we do not take it for granted.

God has been faithful, and we are so grateful to everyone who became part of this journey. May God bless you all abundantly for standing with us and helping bring this project to life. ❤️🙏

One of the meaningful ways our volunteers support our women and girls is by simply being present. Sitting with them, hearing their stories, and creating a space where they feel comfortable to express themselves can make a real difference in their journey.

Mental and emotional well-being are an important part of healing, and these moments of genuine connection can help them feel seen, valued, and encouraged as they move forward.

Recently, we received Jane (not her real name), a 19 year old young woman who is five months pregnant. She was referred to us by her sister through the Gender Office in Nakuru.

Jane is currently going through a very difficult time. After experiencing rejection from her partner and strained relationships with her family, she has been struggling with low self esteem and emotional distress. These challenges have also made it difficult for her to continue with her education.

Her sister and the Gender Office reached out to us to provide her with a safe place to stay, counselling, guidance, and mentorship.

At Jimmia, we believe every woman and girl deserves a safe space to heal, regain her confidence, and rediscover her worth. We will walk alongside Jane, supporting her emotionally, preparing her for motherhood, and helping her work towards rebuilding her future.

We pray that this new chapter will bring her healing, hope, and the strength to begin again.🌸

At Jimmia, we also support women and girls in the community by providing sanitary pads to those who need them. We believe menstrual hygiene is not a luxury, but a basic need. Every girl and woman deserves to feel comfortable, cared for and confident during her period.

As we step into a new week, may we be reminded that every day is an opportunity to do something good, encourage someone, lend a helping hand and make a difference in someone’s life.
