This marks a major step forward for The Green Embassy Kenya 🌱

We are now officially registered as an NGO, meaning we operate with legal recognition, clear governance, and long-term sustainability.
We’ve also launched our website—a dedicated space to share our environmental programs, tree-planting initiatives, impact, and ways to get involved.

If you’ve supported, volunteered, partnered, or followed our journey—this is for you.

2025 in review 🌱
Trees planted. Communities engaged. Volunteers mobilized.
From Njoro to Nairobi to Maragoli, we showed up for the planet and for people.

This is what people-powered climate action looks like.
Onward to even bigger impact in 2026 💚

We are honored to have been invited by the All-Africa Students Union (AASU) to participate virtually in the Eco-Ambassador Training Workshop. The first session which took place today was very insightful. We got to hear from keynote speaker-Eduard Francois Beukman, the Transformative Education policy and Program Lead at Oxfam in Africa who shared rich insights on education, sustainability and climate justice. The next session will be happening on 31st July 2025 from 9AM GMT.
This workshop, hosted in collaboration with Oxfam, Association of African Universities, and the Africa Youth Organization, focuses on the theme:
“Youth for Sustainable Futures and Environmental Justice.”
As a youth-led organization driving climate action and environmental justice in Kenya, we are thrilled to join other changemakers across Africa to deepen our knowledge, exchange ideas, and strengthen our commitment to a just and sustainable future.
We’re looking forward to learning, collaborating, and growing alongside other passionate youth leaders from across the continent.
