Greetings Esteemed Colleagues!
On the 21st of December, we had a mentorship webinar by Clinical Medicine Students Association-Egerton University and an extended invite to Clinical Medicine Students Association of Mt. Kenya. We were glad to have had a wonderful session of mentorship from our wonderful guests.
An overview of the discussions from;
✅Dr. Brian Lishenga

The urge to give our best and stand out was eminent as he let us know that we can always do better. He also made clear that with his leadership in the faculty, he is ready to support us and even more proposals that will benefit higher learning in the profession within the university.
✅Madam Caroline Irungu from Mt. Kenya University, our guest, took the stage to expound the history of the profession, training and areas of specializations available for us broadly and in detail. She let us know that we are capable of doing anything and are able to pursue our passion so long as we do not let anyone look down upon us. Expounding on our passion and zeal for what we do, she made it clear that all things are possible.
✅Our Patron and a guest too Dr.David Njeru also took the stage to give us further history of the profession, more areas of specialization and areas available for us to look into. In addition he gave us a wider perspective of our recognition around the world and steps being taken towards our advancement. He made it clear that we are up to rise and advance in the profession.
