We all go through seasons where life feels heavy, where every step forward feels like a battle. Sometimes it’s a relationship that’s hurting, a goal that’s slowing down, an unexpected loss, or just the weight of trying to keep it all together.

It’s okay to admit that it’s hard. Your struggles are real — they matter, they take energy, and they deserve space in your story. But while your difficulties are real, so is your strength.

Strength isn’t only about big victories.
It’s in the mornings you wake up when you didn’t feel like it.
It’s in the courage to keep trying, even when hope feels distant.

It’s in the small choices — one more step, one more breath, one more moment of patience.
Some days your strength whispers.
Some days it roars.
Either way, it’s there — rooted deep in your resilience and your courage to move forward.

You are stronger than you think. Even when progress seems slow, even during setbacks — your growth is real.
Keep going.
Keep believing in yourself.
The strength within you is bigger than the challenges around you.

Your journey matters. And your strength will carry you through.

Convicted South African ra**st Thabo Bester has lost a court bid to block Netflix from broadcasting a documentary about his life - including how he allegedly faked his death and escaped from prison.⁣

His lawyers argued that Beauty and the Bester was defamatory, but the streaming giant defended its plan to release the three-part investigation.⁣

Bester's partner, celebrity doctor Nandipha Magudumana, features in the documentary, having allegedly helped him escape. She was part of the court bid to halt the release.⁣

💔 "Grief is a very living thing, it visits at random.

You can't schedule it. I tried to walk away...I tried to drink it away. I tried to book myself as crazy.

But all it did was wait for me to finish up.

So when it shows up, however it shows up — let it show up"

Sometimes healing isn't about fighting grief...it's about learning to sit with it. ❤️‍🩹🤲🥀

Italian filmmaker Diego Borella: Emily in Paris Assistant Director Dies Suddenly on Set

The global film community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Diego Borella, assistant director on Netflix’s Emily in Paris, who collapsed and passed away suddenly during Season 5 filming in Venice on August 21, 2025. He was just 47.

Diego’s passing came without warning. He collapsed while preparing a scene at the historic Hotel Danieli, and despite the best efforts of medical staff, he was pronounced dead shortly after. A sudden heart attack is believed to have been the cause.

To those who knew him, Diego was more than a filmmaker. He was a dreamer, a storyteller, and an artist. Trained in Rome, London, and New York, he brought a wealth of experience and passion to every set he worked on. Beyond film, he poured his creativity into painting, literature, and even writing children’s fairy tales—proof that his imagination had no bounds.

Paramount Television Studios remembered him as “a beloved member of the Emily in Paris family,” and today, the Jamii Film Network family joins in honoring his life, his craft, and his indelible impact on the industry.

Though production paused briefly out of respect, the cast and crew—including Lily Collins and Ashley Park—returned to filming days later. Season 5 remains set to premiere on December 18, 2025, carrying forward the work Diego helped bring to life.

Diego Borella’s sudden departure leaves a void that cannot be filled. But in every story told, every frame captured, and every dream chased, his spirit endures. From Venice to the world, his light will continue to shine.

✨ From all of us at the Jamii Film Network family, we honor Diego’s memory, celebrate his artistry, and send love to his family, colleagues, and friends. His legacy will live on through the stories he helped create.
