Teenager misdemenor and the moral degradation at the expense of wasted potential is seemingly being normaliz
ed. Mentoring—which matches youth or “mentees” with responsible, caring “mentors,” usually adults—has been growing in popularity as both a prevention and intervention strategy over the past decades. We seek to address any fear or any emerging issues that could hinder our reintegration. The enterprise offers training and attachment opportunities in cloth-making, hair & beauty coupled with business skills training. Camps and retreats for teenagers and youth- panel discussions, Bible-based life skills training, facilitation, focused group discussion, and safe space platforms
Daraja 360, a committed organization founded on the principles of of honesty, integrity, transparency, and ethical values. We envisions a holistic empowered society where vulnerable families, children, and youth live decently and sustainably. Women are trained on different skills such as sewing -offered materials and a space to put their skills into practice. They get to earn from what they produce on a monthly payment agreement. So far they are doing good job, having completed a couple of batches for students truck suits. Mentorship is continuous for them as our work to help them transition to sustainability. The program is aimed at producing a holistically developed individual, with strong character, well able to define his/her identity, and ready to chart a clear career path.
