We are now developing post-secondary training programmes for locl students to gain productive skills and develop enterprises. The warm water plumbing for the Girls' room shower has now been fitted, the solar powered pump is installed.

The girl room is already roofed.
The plaster inside the rooms is complete.
Ceiling fitting started today to be completed by Saturday.

On Monday (27th October) exam time starts for the Comprehensive and then the Secondary School. As the pupils and students prepare the Friends of Namuncha send them all our prayers and best wishes for success.

Today, the Friends of Namuncha Kenya, represented by Its consultants Dr. Njeri Nyanja and Mr. Alex Kihugu joined hands with the Association of Family Physicians representative Dr. Nthusi Nthula from Kabarak University, Dr. Esther Gitahi and her team from County Health Department, the Namuncha Community led by Chairman Mr. Lerru Dolman and pupils and teachers from Namuncha Schools to celebrate 2025 Mazingira Day.
Together, we launched a Healing Garden, planting fruit and exotic trees — symbols of health, peace, and renewal for our community.
As Prof. Wangari Maathai, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, reminded us:
we plant trees, we plant the seeds of peace and hope.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed and participated — especially the Kenya Association of Family Physicians for their generous support.
Let’s keep nurturing these trees and the hope they represent for a greener, healthier Namuncha!
