Finally, we are home with our harvest 🌽🙏
It has been a successful journey—blessed with good weather and the support of community members who volunteered their time and strength.

From the planting season to the harvesting, we thank everyone who made this possible. It was not easy—it took dedication, sacrifice, and faith. But through it all, God has been faithful.

Now we have food for our community—a stable provision—and we are truly grateful for this blessing.

“The Lord will indeed give what is good, and our land will yield its harvest.” — Psalm 85:12

We are thankful. We are strengthened. And we continue to serve.

Our harvest has been more than we expected 🌽🙏
What a blessing—but also a challenge. The harvesting time is extending longer than we planned, but we remain committed to finishing strong for our community.

Our small car cannot carry all the produce, and we urgently need a truck to transport it to Limuru. The cost is $130.

At the same time, we have run out of water and food while staying here in the fields. To sustain the team for the extended days of harvesting, we need $30 for water and basic supplies.

This harvest is for our community for the children and families who depend on us. We have come this far, and we cannot stop now.

“Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9

Update on the baby: He was diagnosed with a blood infection and high bilirubin (jaundice) at 3 weeks old, a dangerous condition at this age. He received urgent treatment in hospital with strong IM antibiotics (Ampicillin + Gentamicin) and is now continuing medication at home. Thank you all for your advice, concern, and prayers Also thank you karin for medical support .

🌽 Harvest Season is Here We Need Your Support

Our maize has now fully dried, and August’s sunshine has given us the perfect conditions to begin harvesting. This is a crucial moment for us, and we are preparing to harvest starting 14th August.

We are planning a two-week harvesting period, and to do this successfully, we are seeking support to raise $380.

These funds will help us cover:

Harvesting bags

Transportation of the maize

Meals and drinking water for 14 workers

Tents for proper drying

Hiring a threshing machine

Welcoming another life 💛

Last night, we received an urgent call about a 16-year-old girl at our gate she was already in labor. In an incredible act of courage and compassion, Paulina stepped in and helped her safely deliver a healthy baby boy before I could arrive. I had switched off my phone after a long, exhausting day, but by the time I got there, a miracle had already happened.

The baby has been named Gabriel Muira. Both mother and child are safe, and they will remain at the center as we begin the process of reuniting her with her family. She had run away after being forced into marriage seeking safety, and finding it here.

Last night, we didn’t just welcome a child into the world we saved two lives.

The Power of Education 📚✨

Education does more than open classroom door , it builds confidence, shapes dreams, and gives children the courage to believe in their future. When you sponsor a child, you don’t just pay school fees you open doors to opportunity, belonging, and hope.

In this photo is Ivy Susan, one of our sponsored children, standing proudly with her peers. Like many others, Ivy is full of dreams and vision. URGENT Appeal

Yesterday, we spent the entire day in the hospital following a cholera outbreak that is now affecting many people in our community. It was a heartbreaking experience—watching lives being lost and families in distress.

The only available option was a private hospital, but we did not have enough funds to continue treatment there. We were forced to return home with children who were severely dehydrated, vomiting, and suffering from diarrhea. It is devastating to watch them in such pain without the means to fully help.

By God’s grace, we received some support that allowed us to purchase medicine for a few of the children and girls on Wednesday. Another group got affected, yesterday we tried again taking them to hospital moving from one hospital to another, hoping for help. Unfortunately, we returned home once more with children still very sick, with high fever and dehydration.

At the same time, I received life-threatening calls after sharing our situation here, which forced me to delete my earlier post. I later learned that there is a nationwide nurse strike, which has made access to care even more difficult. In that moment, I had no words to explain what we were facing or what would come next. I was out of words. Only God truly sees and understands.

We have not slept. We are staying awake, watching over these children, feeling completely helpless.

There is also an urgent need for safe drinking water, which we must now purchase.
I know that asking for help repeatedly can be difficult, and I understand that trust must be earned. I have shared proof of our situation because this is real, urgent, and critical. We are doing everything we can, but we cannot do this alone.
