As we wrap up our training on Christian Leadership, Stewardship and the Church in the Community, our discussions have centered on what is expected of us as Christian leaders.

We emphasized a powerful truth: a Christian leader must lead by example. Leadership is not merely about knowing the way or showing others the way—it is about going the way.

Our lives, character, integrity, stewardship and service should reflect the Christ we profess to follow. People should be able to see our faith not only in what we say, but in how we live, serve and relate with others.

Know the way. Show the way. But most importantly, GO THE WAY.

May we be leaders who inspire others not just by our words, but by our lives. Lead by example. Lead like Christ.

Today, through interactive plenary sessions, rich discussions and valuable feedback, we delved deeper into leadership, stewardship and the role of the Church in the community, exploring the different concepts and practical ways these can shape effective Christian leadership.

It is encouraging to see leaders in Imaroro, Kajiado County, actively engaging in these conversations, asking questions, sharing experiences and reflecting on how they can strengthen their leadership potential and impact their communities.

At ALARM Kenya, we are delighted to walk alongside these leaders as they learn, grow and discover new ways of leading with purpose, integrity and a heart for service.

Today we kicked off our three-day training on Christian Leadership, Stewardship, and the Church in the Community in Imaroro, Kajiado County.

What a beautiful and encouraging start! 🙌🏽

The attendance was amazing, and the enthusiasm in the room was truly contagious. Participants came ready to learn, engage, share, and grow, and their excitement set the tone for a fruitful three days.

Our focus is not simply on leadership as a position, but on leading like Christ—serving with humility, stewarding faithfully, and becoming a positive influence in our communities.

We look forward to two more days of learning, reflection, fellowship, and transformation. We believe God is doing something meaningful through this gathering, and we are excited about what lies ahead.

The smiles on the faces of our facilitators tell a beautiful story—one of hope, compassion, and the joy of seeing healing begin.

Over the past few days, our dedicated ALARM team, project volunteers, and professional counselors from Amani Counselling Centre have walked alongside participants with empathy, creating safe spaces for reflection, restoration, and growth.

Every healing journey starts with a single courageous step. Witnessing participants embrace that step has been our greatest reward.

To God be all the glory for the lives touched, the hope restored, and the resilience being built. May this journey of healing continue long after the seminar ends. ❤️🙏

Day 3: Trauma Awareness & Healing Seminar

Today, we focused on healing from trauma and building resilience. Working alongside professional counselors from Amani Counselling Centre, we had the privilege of offering psychosocial support to participants while equipping them with practical coping skills to navigate life's challenges.

Healing from trauma is a journey—not a destination. It begins with acknowledging the pain, accepting the reality of what has happened, and taking intentional steps toward healing and resilience.

Day Two of ALARM Kenya's Trauma Awareness and Resilience Seminar brought us deeper into the journey of healing and restoration.

Today's sessions focused on understanding the cycle of trauma and exploring the River of Life—a reflective exercise that gave participants the opportunity to share their life stories, process painful experiences, and begin debriefing in a safe and supportive environment.
Working alongside the dedicated professional counsellors from Amani Counselling Centre, many women took courageous first steps toward healing. As stories were shared, burdens were acknowledged, hope was rekindled, and participants discovered that they are not alone in their journey.
Healing is a journey, not a destination. It begins with the courage to confront the past, embrace support, and believe that restoration is possible.
At ALARM Kenya, we remain committed to walking alongside vulnerable women as they reclaim hope, resilience, and the strength to thrive.
