Yesterday marked the beginning of an important conversation about the Family Carrier : The person who carries the weight nobody fully sees.

Together with EO Kenya - Entrepreneurs' Organization at Kwetu Nairobi, Curio Collection by Hilton™, our Founders Antoinette Wa-Tindi and Joe Okelo, explored the role Carriers play within both family and business systems. Not as heroes, and not as victims, but as people who often become the steady point around which others rely.

What stood out most was how common this experience is, yet how rarely it is openly discussed.

This conversation is far from over. Throughout the year, we will continue exploring the dynamics of carrying, the impact it has on individuals and families, and how responsibility can be shared more consciously and intentionally.
