Lions Club of Nairobi HURU extended support by providing a *walker* through Lion Moses Gachoka of Lions Club Kagio Central to assist a cancer patient who, due to her current health condition, requires support to improve her mobility and independence.

**Lions Club of Nairobi HURU – Supporting Holiday Camp at Deep Sea Village, Highridge**

A representative of the **Lions Club of Nairobi HURU** visited the Holiday Camp at Deep Sea Village, Highridge, to encourage children to attend the camp, enjoy their holidays positively, and stay away from the streets.

For **more than 10 years**, the Lions Club of Nairobi HURU has proudly supported Holiday Camps, helping ensure that children receive **healthy meals, a safe environment, and meaningful activities** during school holidays.

The initiative gives children an opportunity to learn, play, make friends, and enjoy their holidays in a positive and nurturing environment.

On 1st August 2026, KGS Leo Club held a Pad Fundraiser Football Tournament at Ruiru Children’s Home. The event brought participants together through sports while supporting menstrual health and dignity for girls in the community.

KGS Leo Club sincerely thanks the Lions Club of Nairobi Huru for their generous food donations and continued support. Your contribution helped make the initiative meaningful and impactful.

**Lions Club of Nairobi HURU – Holiday Feeding Program**

The Lions Club of Nairobi HURU has extended its Feeding Program during the school holidays, supporting Holiday Camps and increasing food supplies across informal settlements in Nairobi. The initiative is currently serving approximately **5,000 meals every week**, ensuring that children continue to receive nutritious support even when schools are closed.

Through this program, children are not only provided with **hot meals** but are also actively engaged in **music, sports, and indoor games**. These activities help create a safe and nurturing environment that keeps them positively occupied and away from the streets, while promoting learning, creativity, and personal growth.

The Lions Club of Nairobi HURU has extended its Feeding Program during the school holidays to support students from Highridge and North Highridge Primary Schools residing in the Deep Sea informal settlements.

Through this Holiday Camp initiative, the children are provided with hot meals while also engaging in music, sports, and indoor games. This program aims to create a safe, nurturing environment that keeps them positively occupied and away from the streets, while encouraging learning, creativity, and personal development.

The Lions Club of Nairobi HURU, in collaboration with Lions Club of Nairobi Trailblazer and Lions Club of Nairobi Embakasi, successfully supported the Legal Aid Clinic and Medical Camp at Busia Prison, organized in partnership with the Strathmore University Law Students, alongside generous well-wishers.

The Lions movement was proudly represented by Collins Ojiwa and Jackie Awuor, both from the Katch LEO Club / Lions Club of Kakamega.

This impactful initiative reflects the unwavering commitment of Lions and Leos to serve humanity—extending compassion, dignity, and support beyond geographical and political boundaries.
