Kalamu Africa Kalamu Africa is a non profitable organisation that promotes education in the slums by donating learning materials to pupils in informal schools.

Kalamu Africa is a registered community Based Organization (CBO) in Nairobi-Kenya. We are guided by our core values enshrined in our constitution i.e truth, honest and integrity. Kalamu Africa started as a regular initiative by visiting children’s home in the most neglected areas and slums of mathare, however the experience around the area isn’t conducive for a normal child to learn and be expecte

d to pass there exams as those from well off families, it’s through these visits that we realized the need to support education mostly in the slums and community based schools. Kalamu Africa runs three inter-connected programs
