Our BiG Mandate

BiG was incepted in 2006 as an outreach initiative to teens in schools, churches and destitute homes through mentoring relationship and counseling. BiG concept is inspired by the rhetoric of Jer 8:21-22; Is there no Balm in Gilead? Why then is the health of the daughter of my people not restored? Many teens stagger under the weight of negative experiences from upbringing and life'

s circumstances

resulting to marred self image and life outlook, identity crisis, despair, loneliness, depression, neglect, abuse, oppression, discrimination, rejection, sexual indulgence, substance addictions among many other prevalent issues. This in turn affects their self talk, attitudes and actions reflected in their behaviour, relationships, academic and life output. BiG Mentorship concept is based on psychological counseling experience and biblical principles that create an environment for redemption and restoration from the adolescence challenges.
