Steps for Justice ✊🏾⚖️

On Saturday, Nairobi came alive with voices, solidarity and determination during the FIDA-Kenya Steps for Justice Walk at Uhuru Park.

The walk was more than just taking steps it was a powerful reminder that access to justice, dignity, gender equality and the protection of women’s and girls’ rights must remain at the centre of our collective action.

The superb CBO was honoured to be part of this important movement. Every step represented a commitment to a Kenya where justice is accessible, women are empowered, violence is challenged, and no one is left behind.

As we continue the journey, let us remember: Justice is not a privilege, it is a right. And every step towards equality counts. 💜

PROUD MOMENT AT The superb CBO

Join us in congratulating one of our volunteers Shakila Mayanka on her graduation in the Perioperative Theatre Course.

Shakila has defied stereotypes, overcame barriers, and proved that talent has no address and skill has no gender.

When we empower one woman, we empower a community. Here's to more women in the operating theatre!

Happy International Youth Day 2026! 🌍✨

Today we celebrate the power, creativity, and resilience of young people everywhere.

This year's theme, "Different Contexts, Common Aspirations" reminds us that while our stories and backgrounds may differ, our dreams for a fair, inclusive, and equal world are the same.

At The superb CBO, we believe youth voices must lead the change. When we listen to each other and lift each other up, we build communities where no one is left behind.

To every young person, your context matters, your voice matters, your aspiration matters. 💜
Happy International Youth Day 2026.

📌🚀From SRHR policy to reduced inequalities and social injustices, we’re demanding spaces where young people co-design solutions, not just receive them.✨💯

Currently, we are attending the 9th RHNK Conference in Mombasa, Kenya under the theme: "Strengthening SRHR to achieve Youth agency, full potential and meaningful engagement in Africa's dynamic socio-political and economic landscape".

We the young people aren’t just in the room we’re setting the agenda. The message is clear, when we are excluded then impact is equally excluded. Meaningful participation means providing flexible and ethical funding, ensuring decision-making power, and accountability.

We’re advocating for inclusive policies, accessible services, and leaders who listen.
To every policymaker out there, recognize youth voices, protect our rights and move from tokenism to partnership.

Over the weekend, we joined our partners in celebrating The World Menstrual Hygiene Day 2026.
This year, we engaged in the 6th edition of menstrual cycling and color festival where we debunked misconceptions around menstruation as well as increased public awareness on Menstrual health management.

As the world is commemorating The World Menstrual Hygiene Day today, we reaffirm our commitments towards ending period poverty in Kenya. Menstruation acts as a formidable barrier to women's development when compounded by period poverty and social stigma. It restricts educational attainment, limits workforce participation, and deepens gender inequalities. Therefore, we call upon like minded organizations to accelerate collective action towards ensuring a

We are happy to have joined the Young Women's Leadership Institute for this year’s Feminist Leadership Academy (FLA). The conversation at the FLA centered on money within feminist organizing.

We had an enriching 3- day convening where we deliberated on resource mobilization and fundraising co-creating a space that allows us to reflect on how shifting funding dynamics are impacting us at the grassroots level, as well as explore what needs to change to strengthen feminist organising moving forward.

We also had the opportunity of engaging in a debrief session as it's one of the main tools for keeping us going and safe ensuring our collective well-being.
