📌🚀From SRHR policy to reduced inequalities and social injustices, we’re demanding spaces where young people co-design solutions, not just receive them.✨💯

Currently, we are attending the 9th RHNK Conference in Mombasa, Kenya under the theme: "Strengthening SRHR to achieve Youth agency, full potential and meaningful engagement in Africa's dynamic socio-political and economic landscape".

We the young people aren’t just in the room we’re setting the agenda. The message is clear, when we are excluded then impact is equally excluded. Meaningful participation means providing flexible and ethical funding, ensuring decision-making power, and accountability.

We’re advocating for inclusive policies, accessible services, and leaders who listen.
To every policymaker out there, recognize youth voices, protect our rights and move from tokenism to partnership.

We are happy to have joined the Young Women's Leadership Institute for this year’s Feminist Leadership Academy (FLA). The conversation at the FLA centered on money within feminist organizing.

We had an enriching 3- day convening where we deliberated on resource mobilization and fundraising co-creating a space that allows us to reflect on how shifting funding dynamics are impacting us at the grassroots level, as well as explore what needs to change to strengthen feminist organising moving forward.

We also had the opportunity of engaging in a debrief session as it's one of the main tools for keeping us going and safe ensuring our collective well-being.
