-.mitchell.artist
Annick Mitchell is a self-taught artist, and started off with pencil sketches before boldly progressing to soft pastels and large pieces of work, She has developed her distinctive style in the last four years and uses mixed media; primarily ink, soft and oil pastels, water color, acrylic and spray to paint on both paper and canvas.
Born and bought up in Kenya, wildlife and other animals are her great love. After 18 years in the tourism industry, Annick decided to take her art to the next level and make it her profession. Her exhibition pieces focus on the ever-challenging conservation landscape.

- or Patrick Mukabi is a fine artist who has mentored many young Kenyan painters, first at the GoDown where he was based for many years, and then at the Dust Depo Artists Studio at Kenya Railways where he promoted mural-making and street art by inviting young artists to paint the walls surrounding the Kenya Railways Museum. Patrick has taught art all over the world, in more than 20 countries as well as in Kenyan schools. His service to the Kenyan art world is unparalleled, and these days he can be found at the T-Mall on Langata road.
