A productive day with a purpose!!
This Menstrual Hygiene Day, we came together to pack reusable pads for distribution and support menstrual health for girls and women in need.
Small actions, big impact. 🌸

As we mark International Menstrual Health Day, learn from Mama Hope as she shares insights on how girls navigate sports environments during their menstrual cycles and the importance of creating supportive spaces for them to thrive. ❤️🩸

An inspiring conversation on menstrual health, confidence, and empowering girls in sports. ✨. Together, let’s continue the conversation and work towards a world where no girl misses out because of her period.

It was inspiring to see Diani Youth Beach Cleaning Organisation teaching communities how to make reusable sanitary towels. This is the true impact of pad making workshops creating knowledge, skills, and sustainable solutions for menstrual health.

Through the partnership between Together for Better Foundation and Diani youth Beach cleaning ,we are helping restore dignity and support girls’ health rights through education and empowerment.

We were 8 participants trained in reusable pad making, and every person trained becomes a source of impact in their community.

At Together for Better Foundation, we believe real impact happens when partnerships move beyond conversations into action.

Inspired by the collaboration between the United Asian Network and UNHCR, we are reminded that sustainable change is built when communities, organizations and the private sector work together with purpose.

From supporting education to restoring dignity for vulnerable communities, every action matters. The donation of locally made school shoes is more than a gift, it is an investment in confidence, access and opportunity for children.

At Together for Better Foundation, we continue our mission of creating impact through menstrual health education, reusable pad access and community empowerment across Kenya. 🇰🇪💛

Together, we can turn partnerships into lasting change.

Did you know that Kenya and Uganda are among the largest importers of menstrual pads globally, with India, China and South Africa leading as top exporters?

While single-use imports dominate, reusable products are steadily growing. This evolution is about more than just giving consumers choices, it’s about ensuring those choices are safe, reliable and high-performing.

To scale this industry sustainably, clear production standards are everything. That’s how we ensure quality and innovation move forward together.

A huge thank you to the students from the International School of Kenya!

We were honored to welcome them into our workshop at Together for Better Foundation, where they rolled up their sleeves and learned how to stitch reusable sanitary pads, gaining firsthand insight into the time, care, and skill that goes into every pad we make.

But this wasn’t just a workshop. It was a powerful exchange of compassion and action.

These incredible young changemakers dove deep into understanding how access to safe, reusable pads keeps vulnerable girls across Kenya in school with dignity. And now, they’re taking that knowledge home, to fundraise through their families and support girls they may never meet, but whose lives they will forever change. This is what fighting period poverty looks like: education, empathy, and action.

We are so proud of their energy and commitment. With the funds they raise, more girls will stay in class, chase their dreams, and never have to choose between their education and their dignity.

Welcome to the movement, ISK students. Together, we are building a future where no girl is left behind.
