Kwa kuwa matokeo ya uchaguzi yametangazwa, watu wengi wanasherehekea na wengine wengi wamesikitishwa. Tukumbuke umuhimu wa kudumisha amani na kwamba wapinzani wa kisiasa pia ni majirani zetu na Wakenya wenzetu. Tafadhali ripoti uvumi yoyote au vitisho vyovyote kwa amani na usalama kwa kututumia ujumbe. Tutajaribu kukusaidia na habari za ukweli.

Since the results of the presidential election have been announced, many people are celebrating and many others are disappointed. We should all remember the importance of maintaining peace and that political opponents are also our neighbours and our fellow Kenyans. Please report any rumours or threats to peace and security by sending us a message. We will try to assist you with accurate information.

Tumepokea ripoti kadhaa kutoka kwa watu ambao wana wasiwasi kuhusu vyombo vya habari ambavyo vinaonyesha matokeo tofauti ya uchaguzi. Hali hii ni kwa sababu mashirika hayo yanahesabu maeneo tofauti ya nchi kwa nyakati tofauti. Tafadhali kuwa na subira tunaposubiri IEBC kutangaza matokeo rasmi.

We have received several reports from people with concerns about various media houses showing different election results. This is because they are counting different areas of the country at different times. Please remain patient as we all wait for the IEBC to announce the official results.

Tafadhali ungana na mradi wa Una Hakika kudumisha amani na kusambaza habari za ukweli. Tuma ripoti za uvumi na habari za uongo unazosikia kupitia SMS kwa nambari 21512 na wahimize watu wengine kuripoti pia. Tutafanya juhudu na kukujibu kwa haraka na ukweli.

Una Hakika aims to counter misinformation surrounding the 2022 Kenyan general election by responding to community concerns about unverified information within those communities at greatest risk of experiencing violence and unrest.
