Today, our KPMG Kenya colleagues supported approximately 360 learners at Gatune Primary School with a donation of more than 1,000 storybooks.
Through Our Impact Plan, under the KPMG Family for Literacy (KFFL) initiative, we reaffirm our commitment to driving prosperity by fostering literacy and lifelong learning within the communities around us.
We live in a rapidly changing world, one where inequalities are widening, and many communities continue to face deep socioeconomic challenges. Children are among the most affected, with far too many still lacking access to quality education. We are honoured to play a role in bridging this gap and contributing to Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education for All.
Over the next two years, we look forward to walking alongside Gatune Primary School, supporting ongoing efforts to strengthen literacy and open doors of opportunity for every learner. We are grateful to the school administration for the collaboration and for welcoming us into their community. We believe our contribution will have a lasting and meaningful impact.
We also extend our appreciation to all KPMG Kenya colleagues for their commitment, enthusiasm, and spirit of volunteerism. We have embarked on a journey to make a difference, together and for better.
