At Biliary Atresia Liver Care Africa (BALCA), we stand in support of children and families navigating pediatric liver disease, including children going through liver cancer.
Every child deserves the opportunity to be seen, diagnosed early, treated with care, and supported throughout their journey. We also stand with the parents and caregivers walking alongside them — because no family should have to face this journey alone.
This month, we are raising our voices for:
🔹 Greater awareness of pediatric liver conditions and liver cancer
🔹 Early recognition and diagnosis
🔹 Access to appropriate treatment and specialist care
🔹 Stronger support for children and their families
🔹 Better long-term care and follow-up
