Building Stronger Advocacy for Meals in Schools 🍎📚

Declares Kenya joined fellow Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) from Elgeiyo-Marakwet and West Pokot Counties for a Meals for School Budget and Policy Advocacy CSOs Workshop organized by World Vision Kenya

The workshop provided an important platform for CSOs to strengthen collaboration, share experiences, and advocate for sustainable school feeding programs, adequate budget allocations, and policies that ensure every child has access to nutritious meals at school.

Together, we continue to amplify community voices and influence policies that put children’s well-being and education at the heart of development.

Learning, dialogue, and building stronger partnerships 🌍✨Day 4:day was filled with meaningful conversations on equitable partnerships, intercultural communication, international project management, and conflict management — creating space for shared learning, collaboration, and new perspectives.
We were also honoured to be joined by the Alternative Unge organizer, whose presence added valuable insights and strengthened the spirit of connection and partnership throughout the program.
