Day 1 successfully completed! 💡

Today, Declares Kenya supported a training in Alale, West Pokot, bringing together 25 young people from the Kituti Eagles WEST POKOT KITUTI Eagles Self Help Group under the supported by Alale Anti-FGM Project.

We focused on building a strong foundation for successful youth groupsexploring leadership, defining vision and mission, and unpacking the real challenges facing young people in the community.

The energy, ideas, and commitment from the participants were truly inspiring. Youth in Alale County are ready to lead, organize, and drive change from within their community.

This is just the beginning.

Declares Kenya stands firm in saying NO to Gender-Based Violence. Every woman, girl, and child deserves safety, dignity, and a life free from fear. In our communities including pastoralist areas of West Pokot we choose protection over silence, justice over stigma, and equality over harmful norms.

Let’s speak out, support survivors, and challenge systems that allow GBV to persist. Together, we can end GBV. ✊🏽
