History is being rewritten today. For the very first time since 1963, Kenya is celebrating Madaraka Day in Northern Kenya, right in the heart of Wajir County.
This is a powerful symbol of national integration and inclusion. It reminds us that every corner of our nation carries the promise of our independence.
As we mark the 63rd Madaraka Day, the message is clear: self-governance is no longer just about looking back at our liberation. It is about actively equipping the next generation to lead our economic and social transformation.
At ELF-Africa, we believe that a youth population armed with the right skills, values, and leadership mindset is the ultimate expression of internal self-rule. When we provide young people with technical, civic, and leadership capabilities, we nurturing them to govern their own destinies.
Our progress is a collective assignment. To our incredible alumni, partners, and friends across the continent, Happy Madaraka Day! Together, we are building the future we once only dreamed of.
