Different Contexts. Common Aspirations.One Shared commitment to peace. This International Youth Day, we celebrate young people as not only leaders of tomorrow but active agents of prace and positive change today.

Through our partnership with Nairobi_citycountygovernment we recently brought young people together for peacebuilding sessions in 9 sub-counties focused on dialogue, understanding, participation and the role of youth in building peaceful and inclusive communities.

As we mark under the theme “Different Contexts, Common Aspirations,” we reaffirm the importance of creating spaces where young people can be heard, empowered and equipped to contribute meaningfully to the communities they call home.

Because peace is not something we simply inherit. It is something we build — together. 🌍🤝🏾

New hope for Ethiopian and Eritrean Asylum Seekers as Refugee Legal Networks welcomes the ruling delivered today by the High Court of Kenya ( Petition No. E596 OF 2025), in which Justice E.C Mwita issued conservatory orders suspending the implementation of the directive dated 31st July 2025 by the Commissioner for Refugee Affairs.
