Rooted in nature. Working for our future.
This World Environment Day, we are sharing a glimpse of the beautiful mangrove forests in Kwale. These trees are quiet powerhouses, absorbing up to four times more carbon than regular forests to help keep our air clean. But the real heart of this story is the women of Gazi. They are the ones on the ground every day, leading the way through eco-tourism and local farming. Instead of cutting down the forests to get by, they have become their fiercest protectors, creating a green economy that supports their families while healing the coastline. When we give women the space and support to lead, our communities and our planet thrive together. Let's keep standing with them
