The Youth Banner (TYB) is a not-for-profit organization founded in 2010 by Wamuyu Mahinda, an Ashoka fellow. TYB’s goal is to develop and economically empower youth through a tried and tested entrepreneurship and leadership program – The Youth Banner Economic Empowerment Program (BEEP) which was designed to help battle Kenya’s high unemployment rate. The Youth banner’s commitment in entrepreneursh

ip training, mentoring and linkages to markets and finance has benefitted countless young people across Kenya who would otherwise be unemployed or without sustainable sources of livelihood. The Youth Banner currently works in 27 counties in Kenya with the BEEP Clubs running in informal settlements within Nairobi and in the rural areas of Homa Bay, Siaya, Migori, Muranga, Kiambu, Kilifi and Nyeri Counties

OBJECTIVES:
1. Equip entrepreneurs with skills and tools to initiate own businesses
2. Enhance youth leadership capabilities
